STOLEN BIKE RECOVERED ON LANE HEAD ROAD

Good news for our local community.

While carrying out patrols in identified hotspot areas, PCSO Detheridge and I were on Lane Head Road when we identified a Volkswagen Golf and a BMW motorcycle acting suspiciously. 

As officers approached, the rider of the motorcycle attempted to make off. Swift and proportionate action was taken, resulting in the motorcycle being abandoned.

The bike was subsequently recovered and is believed to be stolen. The remaining individuals were stopped and searched, with no items of interested recovered
